Currently December

Hello! Good evening! Hope everyone has had a wonderful Friday! I am linking up with Farley for her monthly "Currently" link up. I needed to post this last Sunday but better late than never right?

Listening: Yes, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I am loving all of Taylor Swift's new songs on her CD, "1989". Shame on me, but I do.

Loving: I love the spirit of Christmas. I love the music, the tacky sweaters, decorations, and all the festivities that go along with Christmas. So much fun!

Thinking: I am looking for easy, inexpensive, and creative ideas for parent gifts for Christmas. Have a great idea? Let me know!

Wanting: After a stressful and busy week, I want to kick my feet up, drink coffee, and relax with my fur babies.

Needing: To do lesson plans for this week! Ahhhhh!

Giving: A shout out to Lauren at A Teachable Teacher for providing a fantastic December Management Freebie. It involves hot chocolate, a fire, and a party. What could be better? Check out her blog for more information!

Thanks for checking out my blog! Leave me a comment for feedback!

  2. Christmas is my favourite time of the year! Have you thought of clear glass balls with fingerprint designs - I have done reindeer and will try Christmas lights this year...a la Pinterest. I heard about Lauren's freebie too and just may break it out if my class doesn't get it together!

  3. You aren't alone in loving TS...I'm with you and I'm probably a wee bit older than you ;)
I also love this time of the year, except for how crazy the kids get. I just may have to try out that behavior freebie with my 2nd graders.

  4. So sweet that you gave a shout out to a blog friend! :) I'm making coasters for my parent volunteers with the kids' artwork..fingerprints or something. I also always take a picture of my students (usually wearing a Santa hat) and put it in a popsicle stick frame. The kids paint the sticks green & decorate with sequins to look like a Christmas tree with their pics in the middle! :)

I'm giving away a Polar Express & Elf on the Shelf unit if you're looking for some new Christmas spirit! :)
